The Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP) promotes mutual friendship and understanding between Greater Philadelphia and Japan. We accomplish our mission by:
-Preserving, maintaining, presenting, and interpreting Shofuso, a traditional Japanese house and garden.
-Enriching connections between the business and government sectors of Japan and Greater Philadelphia.
-Offering educational and public programs about Japanese arts, business, and culture.
Members of JASGP receive a number of exciting benefits that include free admission to Shofuso Japanese House and Garden; a 10% discount in the Shofuso gift shop; access to First Thursday Members Only Evenings at Shofuso; year-round discounts on programs, workshops, and events; and access to reciprocal benefits with local and national partner institutions.
The Individual Membership provides these benefits to one adult, whereas the Household Membership provides these benefits to two adults and up to four children.
